Otto
A read-only tool that checks the people and companies you follow on LinkedIn, or any site you’re logged into, and reports what changed. It runs on your Mac, in your own browser.

How it works
You describe a job in plain English, or give it a list. It runs in one of four ways.
Reports job moves, new roles and posts since the last check.
Runs once and reports back.
Runs until a time or credit limit you set.
Repeats and keeps a running feed.
What it won’t do
- It can’t connect, message, like, comment or apply. That part was never built.
- It reads at a human pace, from the browser session you already have open.
- Results stay on your machine. I never see them.
Pricing
$29 a month after a 14-day free trial. No card needed to start. macOS only for now (Apple silicon).
Questions
Will LinkedIn restrict my account?
I can’t promise it won’t, and anyone who does is guessing. Restrictions follow automated actions like bulk invites and mass messages. Otto takes none: it reads at a human pace from the session you already have open.
Is it within LinkedIn’s terms?
LinkedIn’s terms restrict automated access broadly, so I won’t claim it’s compliant. That’s for LinkedIn and your own counsel to judge. If your employer has a policy on LinkedIn tools, check it first.
Where does my data go?
Results stay on your Mac, in one file, and Otto never stores a password. To make sense of a page it sends a model the smallest slice it needs. I never see any of it.
